Terms and Conditions

Welcome to My Live Classroom, a service provided by Oxford TEFL and Oxford House. By using our website and booking a class, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. About My Live Classroom

My Live Classroom provides low-cost English and Spanish language classes delivered by trainee teachers as part of their teacher training programs. The service is operated by Oxford TEFL and Oxford House.

2. Booking and Payments

• All classes must be booked in advance through the registration page on our website.
• Payment must be made at least 24 hours prior to the first day of your course.
• Prices are listed in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes.
• Courses are subject to availability.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Barcelona Payments
  • Payment fees for Barcelona classes are non-refundable. However, you may postpone your course at no extra cost, if you notify us at least 72 hours prior to your course starting.
  • If My Live Classroom cancels a course for any reason, you will be offered an alternative course or a full refund.
• Online Subscriptions
  • Subscriptions fees for Online classes are non-refundable. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account:  My account. 

4. Class Experience

• Classes are taught by teachers-in-training under the supervision of experienced tutors as part of their professional teaching certification.
• While trainees are not yet fully qualified, all lessons are planned to a high standard and supported and observed by experienced tutors.
• We strive to maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately or disruptively.

5. Technology and Online Learning

• If you have chosen to take your classes online, it is your responsibility to have a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone.
• Online lessons are delivered via Zoom (you do not need to purchase a Zoom account).
• In-person lessons are delivered in Oxford House in central Barcelona, Spain. Our school is paper-free so we also recommend bringing your laptop and / or a notebook with you.
• We use Moodle as our learning platform.
• My Live Classroom is not responsible for technical issues on your end, but we’ll do our best to help troubleshoot where possible.

7. Data Protection

• We collect and process your personal information in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
• Your data will only be used for scheduling, communication, and service improvement. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• At the time of registration, you will be asked to agree to our data policy.

8. Changes to Terms

My Live Classroom reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. By continuing to use our service, you agree to the latest version.
